Have you ever considered writing a children's book?

I would guess that a large percentage of the readers of book blogs have at one time or other thought about writing a children's book.  Am I right?  Surely most book lovers have wondered what they would write about if they ever decided to put a pen to paper (or fingers to a keyboard) or have dreamt about their name appearing on the front cover of a book.  Well, there's a new way to make that dream come true and it's provided by a company called Talespring.  Using their online tool you can make your own interactive picture book that can be viewed on your computer or it can be published to the app store and viewed on an ipad or iphone.

Talespring was recently featured on the news and this clip gives a pretty good example of what can be done using Talespring's online tool for building children's books.

Here's another video showing how the online tool can be used to create a page for a book.  It may seem a little long but it's interesting to see how the animations of a page easily come together.

In the interest of full disclosure I do feel like I should tell you that this is my husband's company.  Even so, I think this is a really cool thing and I hope you'll check it out.  Look for more information at Talespring.com.
Thanks for reading!

This is really cool! What a fun way to share a story with your kids, or even have them help write a story with you.
